Library Lecture Programs sponsored and organized by the Humboldt County Historical Society in partnership with the Clarke Historical Museum. They are hosted at the Museum (240 E Street, Eureka) on the first Saturday of every month (July, August, and February excluded). The programs are always FREE but capacity is limited - come early to reserve a seat!

World War I in Humboldt County

Join teacher and author (and former HCHS archivist), Jim Garrison for this glimpse into a tumultuous period in our area’s history. Garrison explores the impacts of a World War, a global pandemic and a headlong rush into Prohibition in tiny and remote, but far-from-quiet Humboldt County.
