Some Interesting Articles, Volume I, abridged. This is a limited selection of articles from Marilyn Milota’s book, Some Interesting Articles From Humboldt County Newspapers of Early Days, Volume IV. A note as to the subject matter of these articles: History is not always pretty, and the “good old days” were not any better than today. Should you wish to read about perfidies of all kinds, rest assured that Marilyn’s collections have it all. You will, however, have to read it directly from the printed book at HCHS, as this particular selection is meant to be light-hearted and entertaining, as well as interesting.
