The Humboldt County Historical Society invites an exceptional speaker each year to give a local history presentation at this celebration of the support of our local community and sustaining members. Anyone may purchase tickets to this annual event, though members at the Research Circle & Collector's Circle levels receive two complimentary tickets with their membership!  Become a Member

The 59th Annual Humboldt County Historical Society Luncheon features a banquet catered by Uniquely Yours, a historical presentation, and a wine bar and silent dutch auction to benefit the HCHS research center and archive.

The 2019 luncheon features a presentation by Headwaters Forest Ranger, local public historian, and author Julie Clark who will be joined by Jon Humboldt Gates to tell the story of the lost logging town of Falk. The presentation will feature historical photographs from Julie Clark’s new book, Falk: Company Lumber Town of the American West.
