"Mission Impossible? Not!": An Intimate History of Blue Ox with Eric & Viviana Hollenbeck

  • Eureka Library 1313 3rd Street Eureka, CA, 95501 United States (map)

If you have visited Blue Ox Historic Village, then you know it is like entering a vibrant working museum, where Victorian-era craftsman trades including blacksmithing, ceramics, printing, and of course woodworking are all practiced using historical equipment and tools. At Blue Ox, every piece of wood is honored.

From its 1973 beginnings in a formerly condemned building on Humboldt Bay, Eric and Viviana Hollenbeck have built not only an environmentally-conscious business, but a way of life.

Join them as they talk freely about their “Path Less Traveled” and where it is taking them now.

All library programs are FREE and open to the public. Arrive early to reserve your seat!
