Drifting Between a Rock and a Hard Place with Master Storyteller Paul Woodland

  • Eureka Library 1313 3rd Street Eureka, CA United States (map)

During the Northern California Flood of 1964 a novice explorer is unwittingly set adrift in the turbulent waters of the Klamath River. An experienced Kentucky cave explorer finds himself stuck during the "Cave Wars" of 1925. Both characters gripped the public's attention in their respective eras. Master storyteller Paul Woodland returns these fabled creatures to their rightful place in American folklore.

You are invited to hear the riveting tales of spelunker W. F. Collins and Bahamas the navigator - two historically famous explorers who are once again the talk of the town.

Monthly library programs are always FREE! Arrive early to claim your seat!
