The Mattole Valley: A History in Pictures with Laura Cooskey

Mattole Valley historian Laura Cooskey presents a history in pictures of the Mattole Valley. Her array of historical photos shows the promise and the dissapointments of Mattolia to settlers, visitors, and entrepreneurs. Observe images depicting the region's extremes, from a temperate climate to natural disasters, from spiritual seekers of peace to empowered seekers of wealth and prestige. Images of the region's many economies will be seen, from the oil and tanbark boom to the cannabis industry, and much more!
