Thank you to all who have been able to attend the historical lecture series at the Eureka Public Library. We are taking a break for the summer. The Lecture Series will begin again in September
Eureka - Then and Now Jerry Rohde September 11, 1:30, 3PM Eureka Library Meeting Room
Join retroactive journalist Jerry Rohde on a PowerPoint journey through Eureka past and present at the September program of the Humboldt County Historical Society. See Belcher maps, Swanlund slides, and Shuster photos that depict the Eureka of circa 1910 and then study snapshots of Eureka 2010. We’ll advance past the old Vance Mill, try to find the Eureka Foundry, and cut through Cutten, all the time chronicling the city’s changes over the last century or so. Don’t delay, see Eureka—Then and Now, before the Now changes to Then.
